Fae and Kavu's Alliance
Kavu walked slowly, his gentle paws placed gracefully in front of each other as he walked, This land was blessed and cursed to have him walk upon it, like a shadow and a light. Kavu glanced at the white ice beneath his feet, like glass it held each ray of light splitting it into oblivion, such beauty reminded him of his beloved with whom he once walked. It had been many months since he last saw the beauty in her deep abysses. Her eyes as hollow as his heart. She was his sweet may flower, his burning flame and his darkest night. Her fur was like the blood now oozing gently from his maw, like the sky as it hit sunset. She was his all and everything.
Kavu smiled slyly, the darkness was fast approaching and Kavu didn’t fancy walking so late into the bone freezing cold so with a last longing look out over the mountains many peeks he turned towards a dark cave. The snow by its entrance was blood stained and many bones littered the once serene view. He had been occupying this cave for almost nine nights now, each night after his roam he would return, usually with a small white hare or a fish if he happened to find a frozen over lake.
Kavu dropped the mangled corpse that made a slight thud as it hit the hardened snow, Normally this is where he would rest and feed before retuning deeper into his new home. Tonight however was different, he could smell a change in the stinging cold air. Like a demon he began to slink further up the mountain, the sky gradually grew dark and Kavu’s paws began to burn with cold. He could smell something delicious, spectacular. Fear so thick it clouded anything else.
Kavu had begun to run now, his wings tightly cradled to his sides, it was unlike him to feel so thrilled after his beloved was snatched away but this was a different night after all…
he sprung forward across a small gap in his path and there he saw the fears source. A pale white wolf pup, its eyes gleamed silver as sit stared helplessly up at Kavu’s white orbs. There was pleading in its expression but not for help, for relief of the pain overwhelming the fragile child’s body. His back leg now ripped clean hung limply from the mouth of the wolf behind it.
The large male stared calmly, his hunting tripped disturbed by some idiot. A smile spread across Kavu’s features, his eyes now growing from white to a gentle sickening grey. “Leave beast” he spoke, his teeth slowly peaking from their cage. The brown male remained still, he too now found a smile upon his blood soaked face and strings of flesh still clung between his yellowed teeth. Kavu grinned excitedly, his teeth bared in a bright smile at the foolishness of this typical male.
Cold blew gently through his dark brown fur, his scent now drifting through the dark night skies. “Dear sir, you have been deemed a burden to these sweet lands. Close your eyes Foul monster and let me put you to rest” Kavu’s voice was deep, like the soft rumble of thunder but after his voice had long drained away the air around him seemed to fill with soft fear. The male growled his disapproval of Kavu’s request, dropping the pups limb he stepped forward, tail raised. “Screw you” Kavu’s laugh rang out through the mountains like a frightful echo of maniacal intentions. “Very well” Kavu beamed, his eyes now almost black. The male’s eyes turned too but not in colour, the once proud expression wiped clean now there was nothing but fear and amazement.
His cry threw itself out into the night air, screaming torturous pain flowed his veins, like liquid fire it burned and sliced him from within slowly growing worse each passing moment. Kavu’s laugh soon joined the horrid screeching of the male now laying upon the blood drenched snow. Thick red had begun dripping from his open mouth as his very being was turned to mush. Within a minute the male had fallen silent, his eyes now hung limply from their sockets and his tongue frosted by the snow. “oh” Kavu exclaimed slightly surprised “that was quick”
Kavu’s smile wiped from his face as he turned back to the whimpering young, its body slowly drained itself and although Kavu knew what had to be done his thick husky voice rolled the words gently from his tongue. “child, your going to die…” the pup cringed slightly, fear sparkling behind his eyes “now…” Kavu resumed “I can help you… I can either kill you now so it wont hurt any more… or I can save you but it could hurt for a long time….” The white pup glanced up towards the black sky, it was then that her voice carried gently back towards Kavu’s awaiting ears.
“I don wanna die misters, I don wanna” she looked back at Kavu “please big kid… help me…”
Kavu nodded, scooping the child gently into his jaws he began sprinting towards his home, he had smelt alpha not far away and if any of them where like his old Alphess Shay… He had to try so with this in his mind he ran…
(unable to find a healer or any other wolf he tended to her wounds himself, they now live on mount Ekuya Mah in the hotspring cave)
